3 FAVOURITES: June & July

3 FAVOURITES: June & July

After skipping months of this "favourites" post I reckon I could pick up again and start with these past two months lists. So here goes..

I haven't met anyone yet who doesn't like green tea KitKat. Its just expensive and hard to get by in the UK. So when I stumble with this in Waitrose I was totally enamoured. Think Alpine White Chocolate with a sprinkling on Matcha. Yum.

Disclaimer: I think this was released for a limited time as part of their seasonal range.

Ok this one is a surprise. This is one of my very first Bath and Body Works Candle as its not available here other than online, and I must say it is lovely. This was a personal recommendation  and a gift from a dearest friend and I couldn't thank her enough. The burning time is impressive as I have been using it every time the sun's out which by this country's standard is quite a bit. I suppose it lasted long as it fragranced the room after just a short while of burning.

I actually found this stuff a little bit too late if I'll be honest. This was given to me by a friend as a gift to little one. Typical me I didn't bother to read the leaflet included so I gave it to LO without a second thought. And she just loves it. She gnawed on it the whole time we went for a long trip. However I soon found out that it is not actively advised to be given to kids with teeth. Uh-oh. Oh well she loves it as so do I then.

I love lipsticks as much as the next girl. So when I came across this beauty I was totally blown away. It is such an easy colour to wear and perfect for everyday use if you want. I mean considering its price tag I would be inclined to use it as such just to get much use out of it. It is currently out of stock just to prove my point. It is a very nice colour with a texture to die for.

I swear by this. Every year without fail come autumn till spring my lips would get very dry that without any intervention would lead to cracking, darkening and peeling. Its not very nice to have a horrid looking lips but the pain just knocks you off. Having a raw lips is not ideal when its freezing or windy outside. I have used lots of balm and nothing worked for me better than this. Considering I am not a lip balm person this is actually my third tube. Very moisturising and light. Bonus for this mint one as it has a cooling tingly feel to it when applied.

As for my last favourite to round up these past two months its gonna be this sweets. Give I love dulce de leche already these teacakes are moorish. I like it better than the dulce de leche biscuits it came with in the range. I wouldn't commend its packaging or how it was filled but this is a hit at home.

3 Favourites: March & April

3 Favourites: March & April

As this is a long overdue post I will be doing both March and April. But let me just take this time to say (again?!) where did the time go? Its almost halfway of 2016. As much as I love how things are moving it also never fails to scare me. Oh well.

Anyway here are the items I can't seem to get enough of this past months.

Every BFing site I ever visited while looking for ways to increase milk supply the number one thing they always say is to have porridge everyday. Every single day. I have tried quite a bit of different kinds of porridge just for variety sake but since I tried this, I haven't looked back. I especially like the seeds. It has sunflower, flax, pumpkin and hemp seeds which gives it extra flavour and texture. I am not even sure if these seeds are baby friendly but when I weaned my little one and gave her this porridge she loved it right away. Safe to say were both hooked.

I don't regularly wear make up and if I do I pretty much rely on eyeliner and mascara. Most make up remover however are not eye area friendly which means you have to have another separate product to remove just that. For a lazy me is just too much. Which makes this product a winner for me. It take everything off even that cheeky waterproof mascara in one go. It doesn't dry my skin thank God, rather I like how smooth it feels once the balm melts into silky oil.

Now that my little one is bigger I seem to be more keen in "carrying" her around than I ever did. I didn't get the hang of baby wrap and I wasn't too impressed with our first baby carrier hence I just didn't bother. But when the prospect of travelling loomed, I caved in. I had to find something very portable and light weight. Easy to use and light fabric. Perfect for tropical holidays.

The product claims to unclogged pores (which it does) and minimise them (not so much for me I'm afraid). It has microbeads which is nice when used as an exfoliator, but what really gets me is the tingly refreshing feeling it gives when in used. Relaxes me straight away.

I have been using Pantene for years and years and always the Green Smooth and Silky variety. Always. But just on a whim I decided to try this nice looking line. I didn't notice much difference really until about a couple of weeks of use when Reg commented out of nowhere how my hair looks nice. A few days later another mom from the baby center asked what shampoo I've been using. That convinced me, this stuff is working.

This product is toxic, in a good way mind you. I just can't stop eating. I for one already love kimchee but not much of cup noodles. But when we found this in Costco and tried it, we can't just get enough. This is our third box and no signs of slowing down. Since I am BFing I am trying to cut down but whenever I need to have comfort food or just have a fun naughty break from the veggies then this is my go to snack.

3 FAVOURITES: FEBRUARY

3 FAVOURITES: FEBRUARY

February and March has been crazy. And here I am so late in the party that I am tempted to roll my Feb and March pick post into one. But never mind, the more the merrier so I've decided to make this post anyway albeit very late. Nonetheless better late than never.

As I love reading this one is actually given to make an appearance. I had one of the this before but I remember giving it to my sister, which I hope she uses. (*hint*hint) I am a notorious re reader and a book hoarder. My books has been a source of arguments then with my mom and now with Reg, for when you are constraint of space an over flowing of books is not really everyones cup of tea. So after packing away some of my books for the coming of little one, in exchange I got this Kindle. This is the Paperwhite Edition, though on hindsight I should have taken the Fire instead with the little one and... Anyway, this proves to be a total life saver especially on those early days of the baby where you are almost glued to your spot to feed. And any mama would attest that aside from gazing at your little one, feeding can actually get quite boring. So the perfect company is this. Thumbs up for its light weight (as if you need some more load), its adjustable light is great for night use, anti glare screen and most of all for its very long battery life.

2. Body Shop Blueberry Body Butter

This stuff smells amazing. I am a great body oil fan but body butter is one of my indulgence. This is the second year I purchased this product as this only comes over holiday season. The smell just screams of cold Christmas morning. So when you smell it on your blanket or shirt its like Christmas all over again. At least for me.

Yep another baby stuff. I just couldn't praise this enough. My little one decided she'd learn how to stand and jump first before mastering rolling over and sitting up. And this was just perfect. It has four stations to keep her occupied so she doesn't get bored. And she can just turn to whichever she wants to play with. It also has 5 height settings which means she can grow and its still be usable. We also like to attach her own toys so she can have that options too, and I tell you when she's in here I could go round my chores for a solid 45mins to an hour. Great for her leg muscles too.

3 Favourites: January

3 Favourites: January

January have been so fast and hectic that I barely notice that its nearly ending. These are the three things I have been loving this month.

1. Muji Diary

I have mentioned in one of my previous entry how much I love diaries or organizers or whatever you call it. I just find it comforting and re assuring seeing everything written down. And every year the hunt is always gratifying. For the third year running I came back to Muji. I wanted a monthly AND weekly view, minimalist in designed and streamlined layout. It has smooth and a grid pages to boot. This is the Muji A5 2016.

2. Taggies Comforter

I said things "I've been loving" but actually it is my little one who can't get enough of this, hence I by association. At the moment she is in a stage where everything she touches she tries to put into her mouth and this blankie, a total life saver, is just great for that. She loves it so much that it has to come with us everywhere. Its colourful, soft, cuddly and best of all the different fabric and materials for the tags are just perfect for soothing and keeping her interested. Shout out to Sassy Bloom as we got this from our trial box.

3. Clinique Lipstick

Lipsticks are my guilty obsession. This Christmas gift set is just spot on. The packaging looks pretty and the colours are wearable. It doesn't stays long on me though, but nonetheless I am having fun using it.
